Sandwich Boardwalk Reconstruction

The escalating cost of constant repair and maintenance called for a permanent fix to the deteriorating boardwalk. Strict Environmental restrictions for construction in the sensitive wetlands, required compliance with the Wetlands Preservation Act which was enforced by the both the SANDWICH CONSERVATION COMMISSION and Mass DEP.

Project Summary:

  • Helical Pile Type: IDEAL 2 7/8″ Pipe Piles (203 wall)
  • Location: Sandwich, MA
  • Helix Plates/Ultimate Pile Capacity:10″ 12″ 14″ / 15 Kips – Compression, 15 Kips – Tension
