A second floor addition to a duplex added load to the structure. A steel beam was used to span the structure to support the added floor and a deep foundation element was required to support the additional load. Helicals are segmented piles and come in 3′, 5′,or 7′ lengths and are perfect to deal with low overhead restrictions.
