Project Overview
An underground spring washed out the soil beneath a garage and driveway. Weight of cars caused the concrete slab to crack and settle. 8 helicals were installed to underpin the structure, while 6 new construction piles were installed to support the re-poured concrete slab.
Challenge/Unique Aspect
Restricted access and environmental concerns (no fumes or exhaust were permitted) and the small size of the job drove the project to the use of the portable hand-held set up and helical piles.
