- Challenge/Unique Aspect: With the engineers permission, custom tension brackets were made for the production piles, allowing the contractor to use them as reaction piles for the test. Once the test was completed, the contractor backed out the helicals and reused them as production piles. Helical screw piles can be uninstalled as easily as they are installed and reused or repurposed.
