“…AND THEN THERE’S COPPER, WHICH IS THE ONLY PIPE I USE!”

These immortal words of plumber Cosmo Castorini (played by Vincent Gardenia) from the 1987 Academy Award-winning film, MOONSTRUCK, humorously reflect a poignant point of how proud professionals use only the best materials at their disposal.

This professional pride is exemplified in the real world restoration of the Santos House on the Superstorm Sandy-battered Jersey Shore.  The home’s restoration is featured in the upcoming episode of This Old House, “Getting to Work,” airing Thursday, October 17, 2013.
